Depending how often you wear your Halo - daily  / weekly care is required for maximising the life of your locks. Applications of small amounts of hydrating and moisturising leave-in-end-creams to your halo , will keep them feeling silky-smooth and hydrated for their longevity. Always spray with a light heat or thermal protecting product to avoid causing heat damage to the hair. Always avoid products with protein or keratin contained - even just a little bit can be very harmful. Please keep in mind to avoid product build up. If your hair extensions start to feel greasy or knotty - this may be due to the amount of products you have applied and due for a wash. Remember once you apply the product, like heat protectant, the product will remain on your extensions until you wash them, so keep track! 💖 Some of us are also moving constantly and everything from movement, the wind, rain, and other environmental factors will contribute to your extensions becoming tangled, just like your own hair. Keep a loop brush in your bag or at your desk for easy access, so that you can keep your Halo ends smooth all day! This is the best styling tool for removing tangles and keeping the hair detangled.

Your Halo comes with a few different wires - test them out and see which one works best for you and adjust with your loops in your band. Start by brushing your natural hair and your Halo Extension piece. You can pre-style your hair & extensions, or you can style afterwards.

Follow these simple steps to Apply your Halo

Step 1: After brushing and styling your hair & Halo, start by sectioning your top section of your crown, leaving your fringe out, and securing with clips or hair tie up & out of the way. We recommend starting your section from the tips of your brows. 

Step 2: Next, place your halo over your sectioned hair, with your wire fitting around an inch from your hairline. You can choose to clip in your detachable clips for extra security, or remove if you prefer.

Let our your hair & brush over your hair and halo to blend seamlessly. For extra blending and styling, we recommend using a tail comb and neatly pulling some of your own hair out and over the wire / halo - don't forget to do this all the way around!

Step 3: You're now ready to rock your new hair out the door! Most clients with fine/thin hair can wear your hair with no styling or cut ins needed. See below for a few more tips & tricks.

Practice makes perfect, try a few different ways and fittings that work for you. We recommend taking your Halo into your Salon for a style blend & cut in to add layers for thicker or shorter hair types .

Add some clips for extra thickness for that glamorous result 

We always recommend removing your Halo after you have finished for the day, or at night before bed. When storing your Halo for the night be sure to remove any tangles and brush the hair thoroughly - we recommend using a loop brush and then plaiting them.

The best storage is gently placing them in a satin or silk pillow case, or your Kiki Satchel - in a cool dry place like your wardrobe or drawer. You can also store your Halo Extensions Piece in a clean, dry box, container or you can display by hanging it in your wardrobe.

How you care for your Halo will ultimately affect its longevity.

The key is to remember to treat your Halo with high-care just as you would your own hair by hydrating daily/weekly, and cleansing / conditioning every 20-30 full day wears.

If you look after your Halo with love and care - up to years!! Your Halo can last you 1-2+ years and even longer for some customers not wearing their Halo every single day. Most Angels wear there extensions for a few years before needing a new one!

No it will not! Your halo is applied securely underneath the top part of your natural hair, with your wire securely hidden after brushing. And because of the angle it sits on your head - it won’t be going anywhere! For extra security use your clips which are also detachable from your halo
